F1NDX is a growing business focused on OSINT and cybersecurity education. We develop practical training and bring people together to learn investigative skills and use them responsibly.
Learning should reach further.
We want this knowledge to be available worldwide, including to underprivileged communities. That means teaching how to investigate responsibly and helping people understand their own safety online.
Meet the founder
Osama Shilbayeh
“My goal was, and still is, to make OSINT education available without any cost”
Osama created the OSINT Educational Series to give newcomers a practical introduction to investigation. Originally developed and tested on TryHackMe, the series is now delivered through the F1NDX learning platform.
He heads the Interactive Department at Trace Labs and has assisted in successful missing-person recoveries. His service also includes Night Owl Reconnaissance, Operation Safe Escape and Intelligence for Good. He has taught OSINT in person to 20+ cybersecurity and OSINT students and enthusiasts.
His interest in privacy led to research with Alper Yayla on how patterns in everyday behavior can identify and profile someone. He presented this subject at the Colloquium for Information Systems Security Education in 2024.
Free training, built around investigations.
The OSINT Educational Series starts with finding information and builds toward judging what it means. Exercises cover source checks and documentation, with ethics woven into the investigative process.

Helping people is part of why F1NDX exists. The founder’s experience with missing-person cases informs that commitment. Through education, others can develop the judgment this responsibility demands.
Training with Intelligence for Good
Our training partnership includes Crypto Scam Investigations: Tracing the Money Trail, covering scam operations, transaction tracing and reporting. Intelligence for Good works on internet-enabled crime and supports victims through investigative leads.

Digital safety for children in care.
Project F1NDX™
Project F1NDX is a proposed initiative for children supported by care organizations and residential programs in Florida. We want young people to recognize risky online situations and know when to involve a trusted adult.
The planned curriculum addresses privacy and protecting personal information. The August 2026 announcement describes an early-stage project, with no formal partnerships yet.
